We will participate in the "Information Collection and Confirmation Survey on Promoting Problem Solving in the Social Infrastructure Sector through Effective Implementation of SMEs and SDG Business (First Period)" Implementation Period: September 2022 - April 2023

JDI has been selected for JICA's first "SME/SDGs Business Support Project" for fiscal 2021 (supporting SMEs' overseas expansion).

The "Feasibility Study on Wave Energy Generation Utilizing Digital Transformation in Mauritius" project (proposal company: Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd.), in which JDI participates, has been selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the FY2021 "Subsidy Program for Study on the Feasibility of Business for the Overseas Expansion of High-Quality Energy Infrastructure (Study to Promote the Overseas Expansion of Japanese Infrastructure)."

JDI received an order from Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited (Bangladesh) for the detailed design of the Sirajganj Special Economic Zone, and a signing ceremony was held.

JDI is participating in three projects selected for JICA's 2nd "SME/SDGs Business Support Project" (Supporting SMEs to Expand Overseas).

The JICA Small and Medium Enterprise Overseas Business Support Project "Feasibility Study on the Establishment of an Efficient and Sanitary Waste Compression and Storage System in Bangladesh" (adopted in February 2020), in which JDI participates, has begun. The corporation proposing the study was interviewed by JICA and was also introduced on the JICA website (June 2021).

We have been commissioned to carry out a follow-up survey of the Grassroots Partnership Program (FY2019-2022) and have begun the survey.

The "Preparatory Survey for the Implementation of Project for Millesorai Industrial Park in Bangladesh" (FY2020: Subsidy for Project Feasibility Study for Overseas Expansion of Quality Infrastructure) has been selected.

We have been commissioned to carry out a "Current Status Survey of Organizations Implementing JICA Fund Utilization Support Projects and Grassroots Technical Cooperation Projects" and have begun the work.

Katahira Engineering International and JDI have jointly received an order for the "Project for Establishing a Clearinghouse for the Integration of Urban Transport Fare Systems in Dhaka, Bangladesh (Phase 2)" and the project has begun.

JDI is participating in two projects selected for JICA's second "SME/SDGs Business Support Project" (supporting SMEs' overseas expansion) for fiscal 2019.
